Presentation Guide:
Oral presentations
Presentation Time: The presentation time is critical; each paper is allocated 20 minutes for oral presentation. We recommend that presentation of your slides should take about 15 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for questions and answers.
To ensure smoothing running of presentations in a session, speakers are required to report to the session chair, prepare slides and test equipment at least 10 minutes before the session starts.
Equipment Provided: All lecture rooms will be equipped with a computer, a video projector, a microphone and a pointing device. Each computer will have a CD-ROM drive as well as PowerPoint and Acrobat Reader software. If any other audio or video equipment is required, authors must contact conference organizer to indicate their request.
Please note the following critical points:
To increase interaction with participants, all presenters in oral sessions are encouraged to prepare posters to participate the following short oral (+poster) presentations without spotlight presentation.
Short Oral (+Poster) Presentations
The short oral presentation consists of a spotlight presentation (maximum 2 minutes each paper), followed by a poster presentation.
The spotlight presentation should contain no more than two slides. All presentation slides will run automatically. Note that you will not have access to the computer (this rule is only applicable to the spotlight presenters in short oral sessions). All slides should be sent to conference organizer (Email: info@psivt.org) before 7 November, 2010.
Please put up your poster before the short oral session starts, and remove your poster before lunch break/coffee break/end of all sessions. The poster board size is for A1 size portrait. Your paper id will be shown on the board.
