The Republic of Singapore is located at the tip of the Malay Peninsula, Southeast Asia. The annual average temperature ranges from a high 28 degree C (82 degree F) to a low 23 degree C (73 degrees F) with little seasonal change. A harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture can be enjoyed in the nation. Singapore has always been charming for its tropical scenery and hospitality, attracting visitors from all over the world.
The public transport service in Singapore is very convenient. There are multiple choices to travel from Singapore Changi Airport to the city, and to the symposium venue. Some travelling suggestions are listed below.
1. Directions from Singapore Changi Airport to Nanyang Executive Centre (NEC , the symposium venue)
The distance from Changi Airport to NTU is around 40 km, which usually takes a taxi around 40 min to transport. The transport fee is around S$40, with 50% plus if you drive during night-time (12:00pm to 06:00am or so). Tipping is usually uncommon in Singapore.

It is the most economic way to take MRT (Trains) and Bus to go from Changi Airport to NEC. The whole journal will normally take around 1 hour and 30 min to transport from the East to the West, during which you can have a rough idea of Singapore. The transport fee is around S$5. The route is as follows.
2. Directions from Singapore Changi Airport to the Symposium’s Supporting Hotels (i.e. Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and River View Hotel)
The symposium supporting hotels are located near the central business district and the Singapore River, with easy access of the shopping and entertainment areas of Singapore.
The distance from Changi Airport to supporting hotels is around 23 km, which usually takes a taxi around 25 min to transport. The transport fee is around S$20, with 50% plus if you drive during night-time (12:00pm to 06:00am or so). Tipping is usually uncommon in Singapore.

Chartered Bus will be available to transfer delegates between the River View Hotel and the symposium venue.
