  • It is most convinient to use Gimpo Airport (GMP) (Seoul) from the these cities to arrive in Gwangju.

    1. From Gimpo Airport to Gwangju Airport (KWJ)

There are frequent flights from Gimpo airport to Gwangju airport. Please visit Asiana Airline or Korean Airline for more information.

    2. From Gwangju Airport to Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST)

Take a taxi to arrive at Oryong Hall, GIST. It takes about 30 minutes and costs about 10,000 KRW.

  • From Shanghai (Pudong):
  • China Eastern airline provides flight services from Pudong to Muan Airport, which is the closest international airport to Gwangju. From Muan Airport, please take a taxi to GIST. It takes about 50 minutes and costs 40,000 KRW.
