General Information for Workshops

Workshops provide an informal setting where the participants have the opportunity to discuss cutting-edge research issues and emerging topics in image and video technology in an atmosphere that fosters the active exchange of ideas. We hope to bring together researchers from different academic communities as well as from industry or public institutions. Each workshop is well-focused, and we would like to encourage attendees to establish collaborations and discussions among the participants.

The list of PSIVT 2015 Workshops, including the dates and duration, are specified below. Workshops may consist of talks by invited speakers, panel discussions, presentations by authors of contributed papers, or a combination of the above. Workshop organizers are responsible of the scientific organization and advertising of the event:

  • papers must be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers;
  • papers must comply with the PSIVT2015 proceedings style (i.e., LNCS format), and have a maximum length of 12 pages with the option of purchasing up to 2 extra pages for US$100 per page; and

Workshops will benefit from the registration process of PSIVT2015. Workshop participants may also register for workshops only (available as "IVCNZ registration", covering Monday and Tuesday, including IVCNZ banquet). During registration the participants will specify which workshop they are going to attend.

Workshop papers that are presented at PSIVT2015 Workshops are planned to be published in a single-volume post-conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture-Notes-in-Computer-Science series, to be arranged by the PSIVT 2015 general workshop chairs.

Conference and workshop papers will be available to participants on memory sticks. Chairs of workshops are responsible for collecting all the accepted papers and ensuring the proper LNCS format.
